A blue and white table screen19th/20th centuryThe porcelain plaque painted with two elaborately plumed phoenix luxuriating amongst peony and rock work, with a six line poetic inscription, signed Lin Shun Gua 林順㒷, mounted as a table screen in a wood stand. The stand and frame: 57.5cm (22 5/8in) high (2).注脚The present lot is inscribed with the second half of a poem, 'Peony', by the Tang poet and statesman Luo Yin (833-910). The full piece reads:艷多煙重欲開難,紅蕊當心一抹檀公子醉歸燈下見,美人朝插鏡中看當庭始覺春風貴,帶雨方知國色寒日晚更將何所似,太真無力憑闌幹
