题识：己卯春三月将有昆明之行，志新棣携美酒见赠，余即先启一瓶饮之，酩酊大醉，兴之所至，将砚中余墨写此石以报，姑存之，聊作临别纪念而已。吴溪并志于沪上。||钤印：茀之、吴溪子 |说明：吴茀之，初名士绥，亦名福之，后改名溪，号吴溪子。浙江浦江人。以字行。“白社”创始人之一。历任上海美专中国画系教授，兼沪江大学及附属中学美术教师等。1957年后任中央美术学院华东分院教授、中国画系主任。着有《中国画概论》、《中国画十讲》等。
