题识：光绪癸巳春三月上浣山阴，任颐伯年甫写于海上寓斋。||钤印：伯年、任颐之印、||鉴藏印：个石楼 |说明：任颐，名颐，字伯年，浙江萧山人，清末画家。儿时随父学画，十四岁到上海，在扇庄当学徒，后以卖画为生。所画题材，极为广泛，人物、花鸟、山水、走兽无不精妙。他的画用笔用墨，丰富多变，构图新巧，创造了一种清新流畅的独特风格，与吴昌硕、蒲华、虚谷齐名为任颐人物画“清末海派四杰”。
