款识：一九五七，写于柏林。|钤印：关良（朱文） |关良早期戏剧人物清新可人，此西洋戏剧人物题材较为少见，画中西洋绅士身着燕尾服深情注视着头戴礼帽的年轻女子，伸手邀约请其跳舞。少女欲拒还迎，神情羞涩。此为良公早年在德国柏林时期所创作，虽寥寥几笔全出于水墨，然而神影具在，人物造型精准。舞台戏剧效果强烈，中西画风的融合于一炉，堪称完美。可以想见当时在德国举办画展时引起巨大反响，深受国外藏家欢迎。
