|佛龛俗称龛室，是供奉佛像的小阁，于公元1世纪伴随佛教一起由印度传入中国，后历经各代不断发展变化，一般置于屋舍吉位之上，起到护佑家宅、人事平安的作用。此佛龛呈四方形，通体均选用上等红木嵌以湘妃竹精制而成，纹理细腻美观，形态为亭楼建筑缩影。
