Majestic iron-yellow overglaze square Hu-form vase with 9 dragons amongst clouds design. In Chinese mithology, number 9 symbolize the highest number and yellow and dragon symbolize the Emperor himself, the ultimate power. The vase also has beautiful and skillfully made earliest transfer print dragons and 'Shengde Tang' Imperial mark on it. Height 435mm, 17"inch. 19-20th century.
