|说明：胡人骑狮这种艺术造型，包括“神仙骑狮”、“胡王骑狮”及“西域驯狮人骑狮”等几种主题，最初表现的可能就是西域地区的国王征服狮子的形象。西晋时期胡人骑狮就已经出现在中国瓷器和石雕上，而中国明清时期的胡人骑狮雕品中，胡人常又被雕为披甲戴盔的武将形象，可见骑狮胡人在雕刻艺术家的意识中又有“勇士”或“武将”之意。这件胡人骑狮圆雕，线条流畅自然，人物探身回首，笑意盈盈，而与狮子暴眼巨口、四爪遒劲，似处于咆哮的动感形成了对比。
