掌握乾坤-鸿禧美术馆旧藏烟壶玉质洁白，色泽温润，犹若羊脂，正因选料上乘，周身不做任何雕琢，打磨平滑。壶身扁圆，坡肩收底，椭圆形圈足，通体光素，恰好适合满手盘握，是文人雅士日常心头之物。器做雅件，若用上等玉制成的艺术品，质地精良者往往通体光素，以免纹饰喧宾夺主，有“良玉不琢”之训。此烟壶，造型匀称，朴素大方，应为清朝官员所用器物，周身无光素，也暗示无事之意，合称“平安无事”。
