题识：富贵不能淫，贫贱不能移，威武不能屈，此之谓大丈夫。壮哉立言。丙子仲冬，白岳山人书。||钤印：王雨谦印 |说明：王雨谦，初名佐，字延密，号田夫，又号白岳山人，浙江山阴(今绍兴)人。举人。以性技作画，规摹董、巨，清远脱俗，与东尼大木辈为方外友。称“云门十子”。与蔡子佩诸人为诗友，结同秋社。家藏一大刀，重百二十斤，暇即举舞一回。年八十余，犹举重若轻，神色不变。皆称异人。着有《白岳山人诗文集》等。参见《越画见闻》。
