|此菩萨立像，面相沈静，眼光俯视，笑意含蓄，神态优雅；双手姿势柔软，左手于胸前托宝珠，右手持禅杖；体态丰腴，身姿修长，衣纹简洁，线条流畅。跣足立于双层仰覆莲座之上，台座高大，莲瓣宽肥饱满，华丽异常。造像包浆浓厚，虽历时久远，然造像神态气质不减。地藏王菩萨梵文名音译为「乞叉底蘗沙」，得名「地藏」因其「安忍不动如大地静虑深密如秘藏」。为四大菩萨之一，因发愿「地狱不空、誓不成佛」而受赞颂并被称为大愿地藏王菩萨。
