落款：一九八四年秋 荃猷白描 |说明：袁荃猷，王世襄夫人，音乐研究所研究馆员。1941年毕业于燕京大学教育系，1942年在北京辅仁大学教育系四年级借读。后在中国艺术研究院音乐研究所工作。1947年与张伯驹、管平湖、王世襄等一同发起组织北平琴学社。善画白描、剪纸。1997年出版了《旧趣》（袁荃猷刻纸•白描）一书。
