The censer is delicately decorated with archaic serpent pattern simulating the taotie masks of seeing eyes. Each section of the vessel is cast with a set of two flanges. An arched handles flanked from dragon masks on the neck. Vase is connected by gilt bronze links to the central hanging jade supports above, held in carved hardwood rectangular frame stands.
