A small blue and white porcelain snuff bottle with 8 figures on horseback arriving at a gate and being greeted by a gatekeeper. The piece dates from the 19th century and there is a 6-character mark on the bottom and a stamp of "CHINA" in red. Dimensions are: 2 3/4 inches tall X 1 1/2 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: It is in good condition. Provenance: From a Washington D.C. collector, whose grandfather was a US military advisor to Chiang Kai-shek.
