The ovoid body rising from a recessed foot to a broad shoulder with a short neck and lipped rim, the exterior vividly painted in bright enamels with a continuous scene with 'one hundred deer' amongst trees and rockwork, the unglazed flat base inscribed with a dated calligraphy, the countersunk center inscribed with a Buddhist temple name: Kai Yuan Si in underglazed blue, 13 inch high.
