Solidly potted with deep rounded sides sloping to an incurved rim, the exterior finely painted in black grisaille with large peony blooms issuing from leafy branches emerging from the foot, the gilt decorated rim encircled by a ruyi band below a classic keyfret band all on a turquoise ground, a gilt inscribed 'Tihe Dian Zhi' mark written in seal script beneath the rim, 15 inch wide.
