Well potted with deep lobed sides resting on a short foot to a flared foliate rim,painted in contrasting tones of deep cobalt-blue to the interior with a central medallion enclosing a pair carps in a lotus pond, the exterior with further carps amidst lotus and aquatic plants, the base with a six-character Hsuan-Te mark in underglaze blue within a double circles, 9 inch wide.
