全器受沁呈白色，原生玉色隐约可见为青白色。圆形，无首无尾亦无足，仅雕龟壳，龟壳浮雕十块，中间微隆，背面平底无饰，中间上下对穿一系孔。自古以来「龟」即受先民崇拜，他们相信龟具有神秘的灵性，能活百岁、通灵、水陆两栖，也把龟壳看作宝物，当成货币使用。本器小巧精致，刀工利落，是一细腻的汉代串饰。
