Two early items signed by Glenn: a TLS signed "John H. Glenn, Jr.," one page, 8 x 10.5, July 14, 1961, in part: "I was indeed very honored to accept the honorary degree from Muskingum College. I felt extremely humble in accepting it, knowing that there were so many others who made it possible. I have enclosed the autographed photograph as you requested"; and an official vintage glossy 8 x 10.5 black-numbered NASA portrait, signed in fountain pen, "Best regards—John H. Glenn, Jr., Mercury Astronaut." In overall very good to fine condition, with a torn staple hole to the top of the letter, and heavy creasing and border loss to the photo.Format: Group lot
