A carved composite idol comprising: black body with incised hatched pattern representing a fabric garment with circular neckline and rounded shoulders; white head and neck with elliptical face and triangular nose; and black cap to the head with carved wave pattern. 125 grams, 93mm (3 3/4"). Property of a Hampstead gentleman; from his family collection formed since the 1970s. Fine condition, repaired.
