An openwork silver plaque with scrolled border, figure of Lakshmi(?) modelled in high-relief with right foot placed on the head of a cobra, flowers and tendrils in the field. 37 grams, 63mm (2 1/2"). Property of a Middlesex collector; acquired on the London art market before 2000; formerly in an old English collection. Fine condition, chipped.
