An ornate bronze pen box comprising a slender rectangular openwork sleeve with hinged cap, and a lateral barrel-shaped inkwell with hinged lid; the box in openwork with tracery and calligraphic text; mounted on a custom-made stand. 710 grams, 27.5cm including stand (10 3/4"). Property of a London collector, acquired early 1990s. Fine condition.
