A square silver cell with undulating border, openwork reverse, expanding loop with stamps to the upper face, inset chalcedony panel with incised calligraphic text in four lines. 26 grams, 38mm (1 1/2"). From the family collection of a Hampstead gentleman; formerly acquired in the 1980s. Very fine condition.
