An openwork plate brooch comprising: trapezoidal plaque with notched edge and median voids, rear hole to accept the pin; D-shaped panel with pierced dentilled edge, D-shaped voids, catch to the reverse. 28 grams, 89mm (3 1/2"). Property of a Hertfordshire gentleman; part of his collection formed between 1973-2014. Fine condition, usage wear.
