A bronze figurine of a nude satyr advancing with weight on the right leg, left leg trailing, left arms extended to the side with palm outward, right arm similar with hand gripping a staff with acorn finial, loosely tied ribbon; mounted on a marble stand. 508 grams, 15.5cm including stand (6"). Property of a South African lady; formerly in the private collection of Dr. Frederick Lorch, Swiss geologist and author on Egyptian antiquities, and managing director of S.A.
