Description

砚作长方敞池，砚面开阔，背深覆手，满镌铭文并阴刻和合二仙小像。笔意率真洒脱。端溪水岩入砚，色紫质润。整器制作工整，风格儒雅端庄，为文案清玩之佳品。【铭文印记】铭文详见本场拍卖之拓片文本【吴铁梅】名荣泰，字文翰。广东新会古井文楼人。光绪十六年，吴铁梅以邑中明初先贤秫坡先生钓台久废，倡议集资兴建，得以保存古迹。逝世后，弟子集资在其会城尚书坊书馆内，建吴公纪念祠。
