砚作长方方台，起边线留四足，砚式儒雅澄净。鲁地红丝石入砚，赤地黄丝，其品质十分罕见。背留四足，镌刻诗句铭文，书意洒脱。此砚设计制作风格儒雅，用料考究，颇为珍贵。【红丝石】产自山东青州。在唐朝，红丝石砚台居四大名砚之首，产地在青州的黑山。至宋末石源枯竭，历朝虽有产出，但数量相当稀少。其色泽红黄相间，出现像树木年轮一样的红丝。【铭文印记】铭文详见本场拍卖之拓片文本
