南宋龙泉，其釉色光感柔和，釉质透薄，釉上开片晕染，素雅自然。垫饼垫烧，因此圈足无釉。而从形制来看，此件鱼耳炉颈腹较高，为宋代器形，而元明时期开始，逐步扁平。口沿外翻。其圈足作收口状，胎底较厚。双耳出戟作鱼首尾，划弦纹作鱼身。其耳所呈椭圆修长之感，与其微撇深腹相应，线条简练动感。梅子青的淡雅与炉之气晕魏然一体，亭亭而独立。
