原配铭文木匣砚式长方，墨堂开阔，周边浮雕八卦云水纹，墨池深峻，波涛海浪中，镂空高浮雕瑞兽献河图纹饰，其装饰手法凝重古朴。背深覆手，圆雕神龟驼碑，老龟神态自若。古坑洮河石质，细腻温润。此器物风格端庄雄浑，为同期题材之上品。【河图洛书】河图洛书是中国古代流传下来的两幅神秘图案，为汉族文化阴阳五行术数之源。记录于《尚书》《易传》之中，诸子百家多有记述。
