Hokusai Shichiri Beach Mt Fuji Japanese Woodblock: after Katsushika Hokusai (Japanese, Tokyo (Edo) 1760â1849. Reproduction from 1927 due to the Takamizawa Enji seal mark on the back of the woodblock, titled, "Shichiri Beach in Sagami Province (Soshu Shichirigahama)", from the series Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji (Fugaku sanjurokkei). Dimensions are: page - 15 3/8 inches wide X 10 5/8 inches tall, margins between 1/8 inch and 3/4 inch wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Hang mounted; some toning visible at paper edges, regular horizontal stripes of toning. Provenance: From the estate of Robert and Virginia Brewster. Mr. Brewster was with the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), and he and his family resided in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia. and Korea. Acquisitions were made from 1957 to 1980 throughout Asia.
