A ceramic figure of a courtly attendant with short hair, layered robes with V-shaped necklines, hands folded within the bell-shaped sleeves, flared skirt, baggy trousers and rectangular shoes; pigment remaining to head, shoes and neckline; mounted on a custom-made stand. 6.7 kg, 59.5cm (23 1/2"). Property of a North London gentleman; previously in a private collection formed in the 1990s. Fine condition.
