A CHINESE BLUE AND YELLOW SILK EMBROIDERED THRONE CUSHION COVER, QING DYNASTY (1644-1912),circa 1800, in the noble taste, with a profusion of auspicious flower blooms and scrolling vines with buddhist symbols of good luck, centering a medallion with a blue and white meiping form vase issuing a branch of coral, a ruyi scepter and lotus branch, surrounded by descending bats and swirling clouds, mounted with a linen back. Height: 59.75" Width: 40.50 Condition: Fading and loss of pigment, repairs, professional mounting and framing, overall in fair to good condition, wear commensurate with age.
