Of globular body rising from a countersunk base to a short waisted neck and flaring mouth-rim, the exterior freely decorated in dark brown slip and highlighted with incisions with two large peony bloomswreathed by slender leaves, each blossom with a butterfly fluttering nearby, all against a creamy-white ground, the unglazed footring fired to a light buff-orange tone, 8 inch high.
