玉琮质地细腻温润，表面满带钙化而局部有褐红沁色。整体作内圆外方的筒形，上下两端微微凸出圆脊；表面以阴线条切磨打洼装饰弦纹，线条流畅有力。琮边四角台面平整而微微弧斜，可见粗犷之风。玉琮为古时六器之一，古时带有祭祀功能，为重要礼器。整体造型古朴自然、厚重大气，十分适合作为文房陈设。
