Uncommon partly-printed DS, one page, 9.5 x 16, July 2, 1797. Land indenture between Aaron Burr and Mathew Goul, in which the former "hath granted, bargained, leased, demised and set over…all that certain Lot or piece of Ground part and parcel of the Farm or piece of Land in the Seventh Ward of the City of New York…bounded southerly in front on a certain Street lately laid out called Brannon Street." Signed at the conclusion by both Burr and Goul. Document retains its original white paper seals. In very good condition, with light toning and foxing, and seal-related paper loss to the left edge and hinge.Format: DS
