此件拍品器身盘口，束颈，胆形长弧腹，圈足。整体施虎斑釉，以黑釉为底，褐釉的自然熏染，发色浑然天成，自然灵动。虎斑釉为窑变釉，其原理是在胎体上使用两种氧化铁含量不同的釉，燃烧时产生交融及流淌的效应，如同虎斑纹理。吉州窑上常见这种装饰手法，此瓶为一对，实为难得，值得关注。
