Unusual covered dish peachblow by New England Glass Co. Pattern shows rows of corn kernels and leaves. Lid with kernels and an ear of corn as the handle. Dimensions are: 7 inches tall X 6 1/2 inches dia. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Jar is free of breaks or repairs. Chip to corn cob handle on lid, 1/8 inch long. Fleabite to inside edge of body and chip to inside edge, 1/8 inch long. Surface scratches to bottom. Provenance: Collection of Margaret G. Mabry, attributed to New England Glass Co. by noted collector Helen Barger.
