Extremely rare Greek Terracotta - Demeter standing with Persephone sitting on her left shoulder and clasping her daughter's arm, and wearing a chiton with double overfold, and himation; a large vent hole in the back. Good Condition; intact and accompanied by original thermoluminescence test certificate issued by Ralf Kotalla; H:345mm/W:140mm (13.58in, 5.51in); 1512gr;Provenance: Property of a central London Ancient Art Gallery; previously obtained from a British private collection formed in the 1980s.
