A fine example of Bronze Age weaponry from the near East, beautiful cast mold mace head composed by an upper end covered with groups of projecting nodes separated and encircled by finely incised bands, mimicking a rope design. The base is flared. Fine green patina. Good Condition; on custom stand ; H:178mm/190mm ( 7.08in, 7.48in) (with stand) ; 485gr; Provenance: From an old British collection, acquired on the UK art market in the 1980s.
