A sceptre comprising a central iron rod and wooden sleeve with bronze collars; finial a ram's head with punched rosette to the brow, flared and tiered collar; Eastern Greek workmanship; mounted on a custom-made stand. 1.2 kg total, 64cm including stand (25 1/4"). Property of a London gentleman; acquired London art market, 1970-1980.
