A fragment of painted plaster fresco with robed female and vine in shades of red and olive green; set in a modern plaster matrix; probably Eastern Empire. 3.5 kg, 28cm including matrix (11"). From the private collection of a Canadian gentleman living in London; acquired circa 1984 and subsequently cleaned and mounted in a plaster matrix by Martin Foster around 1994.
