A lozenge-section silver hair ring with incised hair detailing to the upper face, the terminal an elaborately modelled boarhead with erect ears, punched ring-and-dot eyes, flared nostrils and open mouth, with gilt detailing, remodelled in antiquity from a bracelet. 13.07 grams, 32.22mm (1 1/4"). Property of a South London collector; previously acquired on the European art market 1970-1980.
