10th-11th century AD. A silver ribbed finger-ring of Lehtosalo-Hilander's Type III; D-section central rib, decorated to the flanges with punched tremello-style (zigzag) linear bands in a lozenge pattern; the shank a continuation of the central rib extending to form a thin rod at each end which runs back round the finger to create a three-band effect.
