10th-11th century AD. A silver ribbed finger-ring of Lehtosalo-Hilander's Type III comprising a D-section central rib and expanding flanges decorated with single punched tremello-style (zigzag) horizontal linear band flanking the rib and bilinear triangles extending to the outer edge; hoop extending from the central rim to form a thin rod at each end which runs back round the finger to create a three-band effect. Cf.
