16th-17th century AD. A silver bosun's whistle with round chamber with applied median band, tubular mouthpiece, scrolled fillets and suspension ring. Recorded with the Portable Antiquities Scheme under reference DENO-8ADD43, and dated to 1400-1600 AD. 4.41 grams, 41mm (1 3/4"). Found East Lindsay, Lincolnshire, UK; declared as treasure under the Treasure Act and disclaimed with reference number 2008 T267; accompanied by a copy of the Portable antiquities Scheme report number DENO-8ADD43.
