Hallmarked 1900 AD. A silver thimble with radiating 'starburst' decoration on the side and top; turned rim with a plain band above featuring stamped starbursts, some of which have been pierced; stamped hallmark symbols comprising: capital '6' (for the size) in a cartouche; maker's mark 'JT&S' in a rectangle, lion passant in a rectangle for Sterling silver; Chester assay office mark; and capital R in a cartouche for the year 1900.
