A painted icon on a slightly convex rectangular wooden base with mounting slots to the reverse; image of the Virgin of Kazan, nimbate with red veil, head tilted gently to the left; to her left the youthful figure of Christ standing robed with right hand raised in benediction; MP ?Y above in red letters; framed by a raised border. 647 grams, 31 x 26cm (12 x 10 1/4").
