清乾隆 彩華堂款鬥彩盤一對 A pair of Imperial doucai plates with a 4-character Caihuatang mark on the bottom and dating from the Qianlong period. The interior and exterior feature bands of Sanskrit characters alternating with flame motifs. Each dish decorated with a central chrysanthemum bloom encircled by interlinked tendrils issuing five âflaming bushesâ, alternating with stylized lança characters, all below a multi-colored band of further characters, the exterior with five bats in iron-red, cairun tang zhi mark. Qianlong period. Dimensions are: 1 1/4 inches tall X 6 1/2 inches wide. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Overall good condition, miniscule iron pits and glaze pops in rim, and a small firing defect to the interior.
