A Kangxi Period, Chinese, porcelain vase of compressed circular form with a tall gently sloping neck and everted rim, glazed in a lustrous milk-green celadon over molded impressions including: a band of palm fronds high on the neck over a raised horizontal rib, followed by a band of interlocking ruyi head shapes, with a thick network of floral scroll covering the body. The underside white with a pair of concentric blue rings. With sculpted, circular, wooden stand. H: 18" (45.7cm) Provenance: collection of Pennsylvania collector Edward Stack (CEO of Dick's sporting goods) acquired in UK in 2002Condition: In good condition, with several small chips (fleabite) on & under the lip. with some kiln crack (firing flaw) underside to the edge of the bottom.
