The blue and white vase superbly potted, the lower globular bulb supporting a smaller similarly shaped bulb, delicately painted in fine cobalt-blue dots forming nine lively chi dragons clambering among lingzhi borne on scrolling stems wrapped around the vessel, all below a row of pendant ruyi heads encircling the slightly flared rim, the foot rim encircled by a key-fret border, the cobalt-blue of sapphire tone, the counter sunk base inscribed in underglaze-blue with a six-character Qianlong reign mark, having original wood stand, 13 18" h. Provenance: Private collection, New Castle, Delaware.
