Rare Korean Goryeo Dynasty 12 Century Celadon Melon Ewer, the lobed sides with incised Lotus and leaf border to mouth. The spout and curl at top of handle restored with old Japanese Silver Lacquer repairs, cover missing, base with star hairlines extending over foot rim with 1 associated chip to foot revealing the gray body. Height 7 3/4 inches (19.8 cm.).
